The first machine work for this 440 build

I have doubts it would actually be 2800 lbs before with 273 and A/C. But, did you weigh it on scales and got 2800 lbs?

It was a non A/C car before. 2800 pounds was listed on the title. I'll be using a fiberglass hood and possibly front fenders, maybe even the front bumper too.
