318 build #2 "cost minded" for the '74 Duster

I have since learned though that the magnum heads are better than LA 318. Or i think they are anyway, ya cant beat a roller cam also.
They are better flow wise and a smaller chamber can be a plus or a plus plus if you run a piston to zero deck and gear a hood quench. There not a super huge gain but do show better. When it comes to porting, they do port out nice, but, I leave this to the head porters to tell the tail and splice hairs on what’s what.

You can beat a roller cam. It’s build dependent. As well on how the cam is ground. Just because I is a roller cam doesn’t mean it will out power or out mileage a Hyd or solid flat tappet.
