I do not think oven clean is a good idea on plastic.
I would worry even about brake clean.
I use an adhesive remover like Goof Off available at
any hardware store and a lot of elbow grease.
I would research out any strong stuff before use.
I wonder what everyone else thinks = I am always on
careful side.
That is what everyone says to use. Brake fluid,not brake cleaner, and the yellow top oven cleaner. Elbow grease and 40 year old plastic don’t mix well, I need something to strip the plastic.
