'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

I’d had one on order for probably 4-5 months through Holley so was a little upset when I see them in stock at other vendors and dealers!

4-5 months? Ouch. Makes me feel even better about jumping on one now. I looked around yesterday before I ordered from Holley but didn't trust that they actually had one in stock.

When I ordered my headers, it was right after they went on backorder with Holley. At the same time, they jump $220 in price. So I called and searched everywhere I could and found a guy on eBay that said he had one in stock at the lower price so I pulled the trigger. Then he couldn't find them in the warehouse and I waited 3-4 months for them to be back in stock with Holley. Guy was true to his word and sent me a set right away as soon as they were available.

Hoping to get it on the road next summer, with plans to finish out interior next winter.

My plan has always been to wait until the 2023/24 winter and do the swap then. But my wife had a good point when I was talking to her about this last night. She pointed out that while my goal is to drive the car during the summer and work on it during the winter, if I have the parts and can't wait then I can start early. But not having the parts on hand means I don't have the option.
