225 Engine Casting Number Identification

Hey guys. I've just joined the Mopar family with my 1974 Valiant 4 door saloon, so I'm new to this forum. And I already have some questions i need answers for.

I was just wondering if my Valiant was a matching numbers car and it looks like it isn't.

The VIN is VL41C4F 221369. That means A Body, Low price class, 4 door sedan, 225 RG, '74 model, and built in Newark. So my Valiant was built in 1974

Now to the engine
On the driver's side, it says the engine code is 2806830-7. On the other location, passenger side right below the head, the only thing I can see is an F and the number "2" two times, like "F 22...". F means the engine was built in 1970, right? Is it possible that the engine was built in 1970 and put in the '74 car because the engine starts with "F 22" (VIN is ...F 221369)? The only thing I can imagine is that they once swapped the engine and gave it the car's VIN.
