Last time I was in Chicago I was driving semi and got off the freeway on the wrong exit I tried to turn around and called the police for assistance and they didn't help at all. I ended up under a bridge that should have been tall enough but caught a bolt that held the bridge together and ripped a hole in my trailer roof about 6 feet long and just a few inches wide. Jumped out of the truck and climbed the ladder on the trailer as I was kinda pinned there and some guy came by and jumped in the truck and started stealing things out of my truck. I was yelling at him as I was coming off the ladder and a guy and his wife was walking by and grabbed the guy steeling my stuff and and kicked him away. The good guy and his wife told me next time you come in this part of Chicago and someone gets in your truck just stand back and let them go or you could be shot. Still a long story after that but I'm still alive and safe and never been to Chicago again.
