Sorry to bring back this old thread but I wanted to say thanks. I have a 73 Chrysler Newport that someone removed the rear defrost and put in a speaker. I found the blower housing still connected but just laying in the trunk. I still wanted to have the speaker and also connect back up this blower as well. I searched all over and found this forum and this post. I found an original mounting kit that allows for both on eBay but they are $500 and up. So I looked through these pictures and seen the one made from metal that someone made. I took that idea and applied it to 3D printing and made my own for cheap. I have it printing now and will post a follow up once I have it completed and installed. Here is what it will look like though. I am printing this in PETG to with stand cold and hot temps. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks again.
