Here's my favorite carry piece; S&W Model 642 J Frame 38 Special +P.
It's lightweight and really packs a punch.

BP some of these modern air rifles are just super nasty, do some research before you take the plunge. I have no idea what has driven the expansion and RnD in that arena but the choices now will make you dizzy. There is guys hunting deer with them!
I have been doing some research SLO. They date back to the 15th century and were charged with leather bellows. Basically the first repeating rifles. Lewis and Clark had an airgun on their expedition.

...and his bigger brother S&W Model 60 J Frame .357 Magnum 3" barrel all steel.

Simply hard to beat a wheel gun. As a long time competitor with revolvers I simply can’t pass one up if it is a smoking deal. I tried to talk a buddy out of a SnW 41 last week to no avail. I got another buddy in desperate need of primers, he has a spare 38? Mmmmmmm

I have that same gun chambered in .357 mag. Great little gun but I have only shot it a few times in .357 mag. I'll a bit too much for the size for me I guess. I made some 110 gr. loads in .38+p that are great. Nice pocket pistol for sure.

Yeah, I have seen YT videos of people taking Cape Buffaloes in Africa with them.
Yup. Legal to hunt in some states. Idaho is one. Not in MT. I have what I consider a safe place to shoot about 75 yards from my porch for some target practice. Not too sure how loud they are. Shooting a 22 firearm might raise some eyebrows.

Here's my only somewhat "collectible" revolver -
1975 S&W Model 28 .357 Highway Patrolman, 4" pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. Too much for me to carry... N Frame!

Not sure if I have posted my pups yet. Both rescues that both have beagle and terrier in them. The brown one just had TPLO on both knees, she is 100% a different dog than ever before. Super happy and playful now.

Well our boy just harvested a button buck off our farm this evening. He has a hair tag so it is all good. Me n Hemi helped drag it off the mountain. His family does not purchase store bought meat. So he typically needs about three deer to get thru the year. As his son gets older he is going to find he needs more! Teenage boys put the hurt on groceries!

My squirrel killer, 5 years with me, the scoop cost far more then the Rifle, Ruger night hawk, it will roll a squirrel at 50 yards, the scoop makes the gun, and people that buy these air Rifles don't read the instructions, I had to burn the barrel in with over 50 rounds before trying to sight it in. I can hit a bottle cap (1 1/2") no wind at 75 yards 4 out of 5 times, but at 50 yards its almost every shot depending on your amo.
