Does your friend have room for the extra 1/2" that the rotor hat adds to the wheel mounting surface. That spec almost got me when I put the Dana in my 68 Barracuda. Thankfully the housing hadn't been cut or the axles ordered when I came across that. My tires fit super super tight and I have zero room for change.
