I appreciate the info, I’ll look into it more. The plan with the 596 heads is to duplicate an x head cutting in the 2.02s some porting and a little shave to get in the same cc range, not shure if it’s real important at this stage to offset lift and duration to get a little more on the exhaust side

With those head I’d just kill them flat. If you start to mill them down a bunch, you’ll need to mill the intake as well.

I’m not catching the cam lingo here. But there’s plenty of time for cam selection later.

Concentrate on the body.
