And there it is. There have been raging debates on this forum that you obviously haven't been present for which have concerned achieving this by its various forms I.E including Carb design and Carb sizing. You know you can apply this to a race engine right?
Now ask yourself why the smallest of all the carbs ran the quickest while generating 5.5 inches of vacuum at the top end? There is much more to detonation than just octane ratings
