318 MAX fuel economy builds?

Fuel vapors don't explode. Detonation is the liquid droplets exploding. Vaporizing the fuel is like adding octane, but without the slower flame speed. In fact, better vaporizing the fuel and mixing it better with the air will require less ignition timing advance. David Vizard has a video on his channel where he talks about this (as applicable to a British 1974 Chrysler Avenger).
Very cool. Thats the reason I'm running the std performer with the smaller ports. Matched them to the gasket and thats the reason I'm wanting to run modified 920 heads instead of the rest. The carb and spacer do their thing but the rest has to compliment those effects and I believe they will.
