Some of the crypto are. But what you’re referring to is the FTX exchange collapse and scam. Basically it was the equivalent of a stock broker taking your moment but never buying stock with your money and giving you a fake receipt. But that was one exchange. Funny part about it though, it was endorsed by our current administration last year and was a big time donor to that campaign
