When we were stationed at Barbers Point Hawaii (Navy) we always went to the Air Forces commissary, it was better. We also ran up to Schofield Barracks a couple times, pretty decent commissary there too.
And the military golf courses are great in Hawaii. The Marine base course along the ocean is called the military Pebble Beach course. A few years ago, two of us and a cart for $70 what a deal.
