Restart the rebuild
Got spring kit installed in pump. Still need to put the guts in it. Cleaned up windage tray and mocked it up with pump and pickup. From rail to bottom of pan is 7 1/8" + gasket thickness.
Right now I have 7 1/4" from lowest point of pickup to rail. Tweak of a turn and I think it's good.
Shone a trouble light best I could while rolling engine over. Nothing hitting so good there. Take pan in with me to work and I'll clean it up as well as a bucket of bolts.
