I think this is the story I saw on "Road Wars", people trying to cross Lake Winnepeg when the ice wasn't thick enough, they're lucky they made it out alive imo
That happens every year. March is getting late for ice crossing,and picking your own path is a bad idea. There is an ice crossing not far from here,thickness is checked, and is flooded to thicken it.
