More learning and prepping than assembly progress, but still moving fwd.

Just finished nights so blasted and painted #394 oil pan while at work NOT firing mine up lol @CFD244 Peened bolt holes and straightened rails.
Painted OEM Mopar red.
Finished oil pump assembly, I actually lucked out and the Milodon pickup fitted in the jug of Rotella lol. Jammed it in and tested pump with drill. Success! So mounted it.
I had tried to check #821-16 lifters by placing 2 face to face. I wasnt able to detect much crown. I used a straight edge and checked for light behind it on either side. Easier to notice the "rock".
Also checked a set of Johnsons? Crown good on them also.
I have 3 sets of OP gaskets. I'm going to use the 6 nippled ones lol. I like how the newer ones have flaps, but think they will stay put better with the 6 nipples lol.
So next on the list is cam plate, drip tab, windage tray and oil pan, tc set.
