Was mandatory ability when you grew up in the Ottawa Valley.
All three of my kids where taught that until they could do a 540 in front of that hangar door and then park in the house garage without "three pointing" they couldn't go out on the road in the Winter. Taught to drive with the wheel and the gas pedal, never the brake pedal!
