1962 Valiant Signet 200
My conclusion, for anyone who gives a darn, is the white roof and white between the front trim was added when they applied that sweet respray.
My logic is pasted below, but I would also add my guess is the Valiant Color Sweep would match the interior, as in the period pic below, and possibly many people add a color sweep just because.
I noticed the Valiant Color Sweep is only available on Valiant 200 Only. My thought process was since there was a 62 Valiant 200 as well as a 62 Signet 200, it was only available on the V-200, but the period pic I found blows that out of the water.
P | D | Blue Roof & Body Paint |
N | D | |
T | 1 | Mono Tone Paint Style = the 1 In the STYLE OR CONV. TOP section of the BS |
| D | D = Upper Door Frame or Moulding Insert Paint |
| | Either way, it is the same as the primary Mono Tone paint color of D |
| | Plus, 284 (most likely a 4 would be on the BS) is VALIANT COLOR SWEEP, VALIANT 200 ONLY, is that V-200 and Signet 200? |
