I don’t think so. I think you’re missing mine. If anyone wants in, the rules are laid out. If, IF this proposed aftermarket block was asked about prior to the rules, (as in the previous thread RAMM first brought forth his thoughts) then what is the point of even bringing it up?
IF he brought it up after the rules where it said no X, R, Ritter or any after market block, then he is out but IMO, still has a good question and reason to see if the block can squeak in since “I’m guessing here” he can otherwise squeak it in all the other rules of bore and stroke.
Well he already has it. If he plays within the rules, what’s the difference? He could, destroke the crank and use the maximum bore size.
For me the thing here is, can someone here duplicate build at home at a similar cost? AKA, an inexpensive build to copy? Race block or not.
