Mecum Thursday, Another Duster goes for big bucks
God forbid it has the wrong hood scoop.
nice car.
Not a big deal for a street modified car.
But for $73K it needs more mods or more stock. Pick one and do a good job at it.
The ad goes on and on about numbers, fender tag, numbers matching, polyglass etc.. that’s all stock stuff.
And there’s added inspection marks and factory repro wires and hoses bolted on. BUT next to all those bolt ons are incorrect wiper motors, ignition parts, shifter ball, lug nuts.
That said, a lot those incorrect items can be fixed for under $1000 in parts. And FJ6 , V21, 4spd, 3.91 Duster 340’s don’t grow on trees. One of the most desirable combo 71 Dusters there is.
