Well if you like opening cans you can try and grind that out, otherwise you just run it. There's water in there on the far side I'm not too sure there's any right there though I know it's around the guide but as to how far on this side or that side I can't remember off the top of my head. But I know you can pretty much grind that whole damn guide out ,not that you'd want to do that ..but for the sake of not having that crack grow..at least that side . When I say the guide being removed IS possible.. that also includes that there is still enough support of the guide.
