This is a "dead end" corner, facing N and turning left W. Before Mom and Dad were married, Mom worked at Pennys. Dad had some old car, was going down first ave, and the REAR wheel came off, PASSED him, and rolled up and broke one of the big windows in the store. So Dad had to go in and negotiate with the manager about how to pay for the window
