Your teen age cruisin' hang outs
This corner used to be Dalbys Shell, next to the corner of Pennys above, and originally was one of the tiny little metal prefab "Signal" gas stations.
Somewhere in here was the state liquor store. I did not see it, but sometime some local logger with an over-length load, came around the corner, overhung the sidewalk with logs, and took out a window in the liquor store.
A few years earlier, the city had this street stupidly in "4 lane." A truck going the OTHER way around the corner, and some dummy (teenager) tried to turn the corner inside of the truck, which had to have both lanes and then some. The kid was not hurt but it made a mess
