Easiest 727/904 rebuild thread...

Agreed ............ but still a little confused
He is saying there are some great builders out there who just work in their own garage.
I have a friend who used to run a Daytona
With a 727. That car won the $10,000 nationals one year at Norwalk and runner up the next year. The car ran 8:60s in the 1/4.
He rebuilt his trans when required, outdoors on his incredible workmate. I **** you not.
Check out the photos in my signature.
All done on a friends lathe by me.
I don’t own a business. Here are some picks
Of my recent 904 mods. An example of what can be done at home. My first rebuild in high school did not work. No drive in any gear. 43 years later, I do this now. Sorry jpar, not trying to hijack your thread, just proving your point. By the way this is a through the converter in the pits cooling mod from an external electric oil pump.
