Headlight on reminder is possible.
That is different than headlight delay (leaves the headlights on for a few minutes), an option that seems to be very very rare. (see
here)
Do you have an ohm meter or continuity tester?
If so, look and test to determine if one of the black wires connects to a matching wire on the headlight switch connector.
