Dartin for Divorce

I’m going to have to start a new build thread for this beast…

Finding more missing parts and pieces. I think there is still a ton of stuff left at his shop to put this car together. Don’t have door hinges (in a box in old guys shop I bet), so I bought a new set, figured I’d probably rather have new ones anyways. I also need some gaskets… I also need to repaint the engine bay if we are going to change the color. Son wants turquoise. The copper looks amazing in the engine bay though, I kind of want to do the whole car copper but… my son doesn’t. Cleaned a little bit of the bay up and snapped some pictures to show the beauty.

Anyways. Temporarily installed front fenders to check body gaps and make sure they were in good shape… well dents in the brand new fenders, figured they would need some work.

Hood hinges don’t like to close all the way and I need new hood bolts… using some cheap wrong length 5/16th bolts to hold it in place.

This car is gonna cost a fortune and my wife is gonna kill me… lol

Slow and easy wins the race, do as much as you can your self, put the shell together, pull the engine and let the body shop make it pretty.
