The drivers side hood spring bows outwards when closing the hood, I guess I’m supposed to grease the hinges though… wonder what kind of grease? WD40 would probably work
When you do it right the FSM should say what type of lube.
My gut says the same type of lube used on the door crank slides would work.
Basically with the fenders off and the hinge in the position to make the spring have the least tension slather some in between the coils, and at all the pivot points
