Quick update after a couple months. Chipping away over here.
I put in a new engine and headlight harness from YearOne. Hooked up all the electronic ignition from the slant 6.
Figured I’d try to start it…poured a little gas down the hatch, turned the key, and the sucker fired right off! I wanted to pull gas from the tank, so ended up buying a later 340 pump to carb fuel line (@RustyRatRod’s recommendation on another thread). Had to do a little bending, but it worked great. Now I get to say we have some real hot rod parts installed.
