It was my daily for about 8 years, now just a weekend car as my wife got sick of aussie summers with no A/C.
It runs quite well and surprises a lot of people.
I finally got it on the Dyno after about 7 years of abuse and it still managed 240hp at the wheels.
Has been freshened up since then and a better ignition curve so may be pushing a few more hp now.
Sounds like a great combo! I have a 265 sitting under my work bench and have longed build it like yours and put it in something from the US. I'm getting a bit old for that work these days, but never say never.
