Show 'Em Off Slant 6's

What trans bellhousing pattern do the 265s have?
Wonder about adaptation to a 80s D150?
They came with locally sourced Borg Warner gearboxes, the pattern is different to the small blocks (top 3 bolts are the same, the lowers are off) I had the smallblock 904 bellhousing modified to bolt it up & the starter moved to the stock 265 position instead of down low for the smallblock.
I was looking to put it in my 84 Stepside Pickup, so exhaust options would be easier. I found that the 265 will bolt up (without mods) to a small block 904. Looks that I would need to supply an easy to fab block-off plate. I figured that I would get pretty good crowds at car shows.
There are only a handfull of blocks that will bolt directly to the sb torqueflite - these will have D36 or D37 stamped on the distributor pad. Some blocks have the extra material cast in at the rear but are not drilled for the torqueflite pattern.
I believe there is also an adaptor plate available for the swap.
