My Husqvarna chain saw finally gave up the ghost. It has given me twenty plus years of great service. Parts were going to be just over 200 dollars for repair. And at the end of that what will I need to repair next? If, and I do mean if, I can get the parts by summers end. How on earth is there a shortage of chain saw parts? How many guys today actually bother repairing them? Arghh. That is what led me to looking at replacing it. In essence I needed a new carb and a couple misc parts. six week wait on parts.
