intended purpose and driving style are nearly as big of factors as compression, heads and induction. stop light eliminator? hot street ripper? something with a bit of manners?

since you mentioned "sleeper" i'm guessing you want something that passes the eye test as resembling a stock dressed motor, ie not a big *** tarantula intake topped with a 1050

Appreciate the responses. Your correct, stock appearing. I have several solid grinds and a couple of long block combinations. Looking for members running a solid flat tappet with OEM exhaust. Think about it, 273, 340 383 413, 426 wedge came with manifolds. The 62 Dart 413 came with .495/300 solid cam making peak power at 5400 rpm.
