There used to be a Moparts.com member, Oz Hemi, who was an import/export guy who shipped a lot of cars and parts to and from Australia. Good guy, and was on Moparts for many years, but just stopped posting and fell of the face of the earth!

I did a RHD conversion (done by my panel shop guy). Steering box moved to chassis rail and I used Australian front end stuff. I was lucky to find a good firewall from an Australian car. Again my panel shop guy did the firewall swap; straightforward. A good rust free floor in the car too.

Oh, these cars came to Australia in knock down form and were assembled in South Australia with some Australian input like 14" wheels.

Australia only got the sedans - about 1,000 1961 Valiants (R Series) and 10,000 1961/62 Valiants (S Series).
