Mancini internally balanced Eagle crankshafts

Yes but, the external balance with harmonic balancer and flywheel were for stock parts. Change to heavier or lighter pistons and rods and you take the crank and all to the machine shop. Same for internally balanced 318, 340 factory engines. They are advertising both 340 and 360 cranks as internally balanced. The counterweights as cast don’t know what the mass of the piston and rod combination will be. You get a stroker crank you have to have it balanced either from the supplier if you get a kit from someone who does it, or take it to a shop. What do they mean in this case for the crank alone? That it must be internally balanced? I can call them Monday.

You need to balance the pistons/rods to the crank regardless. The internal balance designation just means that it allows you to run a neutral/unweighted flywheel and balancer. They're two separate things.
