using 11/16 tie rod ends but

Why do you want to keep the split sleeves?

The tie rod ends were never the weak link, the split sleeves are. The reason for the upgrade to 11/16" was to eliminate flex in the split sleeve adjusters, obviously an 11/16" split sleeve adjuster will have less flex than the stock 9/16" split sleeve adjusters. But a 9/16 tubular adjuster will have a lot less flex than a 9/16" split sleeve adjuster, and probably still less flex than even an 11/16" split sleeve adjuster.

I've never had an issue with the 9/16" tie rod ends using tubular adjusters. Honestly, I'd rather run a 9/16" tie rod ends with a tubular adjuster than 11/16 tie rod ends with a split sleeve style adjuster. The tie rod ends themselves aren't the strength issue.
