Looking at the Service Manual, it appears wrong with the view given and how the tracks are mounted.

I am trying to fit original style front seats, and it is a bit confusing just now.

You and me both. Have seats but no tracks. One truck does not have the welded on brackets on the wheel hump. It has a couple of captured nuts. No idea WHAT that had for seats. Took these the other on a Van. I have also seen what looks like ball posts on the back so you could pop them and tip the seat forward easily. All confusing
