Pinon Snubber Lesson

So totally weird....

I bought a repo snubber bumper. Very close to the origional.

And I had no problem installing it. I used lock jaw pliers and some cloth the protect the metal of the snubber.

Bent the tabs over to about 45 deg.
It snuggedcright up to the metal.

Finished it off with a flat punch.

Maybe the repo snubber had softer metal in the tab???

Maybe I got more aggressive with the pliers?

Who knows!
