3" X pipe over axle and out the back.

What is the solution short of going to a 2 1/2" pipe and choking the engine?

It seems to me that the 3" setup may be overkill for a 383. I have a 3" system in my 440/495 in my Charger. I ran 2 1/2" exhaust for years with the 440/493.
