Rain induced tinkering.
Waiting on Fragola hose, ends and adapters to arrive so in the meantime just finished up porting (enlarging and radiusing) a Moroso filter mount and Derale adapter. Every other remote filter mount whether cheap or high quality race/HD have a good sized recess/channel between the filters o-ring mating surface and threaded return stub. These Moroso’s are machined flat and the ports are just drilled and nothing more. Same with the Derale, as cast. Lots of room for improvement.
Taking cues from the Mopar Performance engine book (page 239) about porting to ensure proper oil flow, and other mounts and adapters, I’ve at least turned both into less restrictive than they were OOTB.
