8.25 carrier swap journey! 2.45s to 3.55s!
Well I think I have the 8.25 about as good as I can get it considering it's a combination of used parts from two different vehicles/decades both from before I was born, haha. Backlash is set at .008, and everything is torqued. It turns really smooth and the pattern is decent. Someone smarter than me with a legit pinion depth gauge could probably get it better, but for my mild 318 that hasn't broken the 7.25 yet I'm sure it'll run :thumbsup:
