I am going to swap in my spare transmission this week.
It has a 2.66 first gear, current transmission is the 2.47.
I guess I was doing some bad thinking when I chose the 2.47 gear set to start.
But, the track will prove if I am going in the right direction.

FWIW, I've not yet run my newest 4 speed but selected the factory "white stripe" gear set when I bought it. It's a 2.65 1st gear. As you know I used to run the factory 3.09 1st gear. The new gives me consistent entrance rpm for 2 -4 at roughly 5620 rpm. Exit rpm @ 7800. All based on a bunch of calculations, my horsepower curve, etc. I'm nuts but those were the numbers in my head at the time. :)
