AX15 help

Use the V6 flywheel and starter. The V6 and 318 are both internally balanced, so no issues there. Make sure the 318 crank is drilled for a pilot bushing, otherwise use the V6/318 roller bearing that presses into the convertor recess.
I think the shifter comes up real close to the dashboard, and you still have to cut and rebuild the torsion bar crossmember for clearance. Not to mention the (truck) gear ratios are less than ideal.

If the AX15 is from a Dakota, the shifter will come up close to the torsion bar crossmember area in the transmission tunnel; not real close to the dashboard.
