We have all done things wrong, that's how we learn sometimes, slow the process down and read up and watch some videos on how to degree a camshaft after you confirm Top Dead Center. It's possible you were in 2nd gear when you were reading 50 mph @ 3000 rpm's due to possible problem on trans pressure to throttle angle, possible some more reading needs to be done.
oh believe me tonight is going to be a full on investigation night after work. But yes it was in third gear because i feel it shift into third gear then from there it just keeps rising.
