1967 Barracuda Hub Cap Question

My buddy tried test fitting the 67-68 sport wheel cover on the rally wheel. I guess it fit, but it won't look right because the wheel cover's position is dictated by the valve stem. The position of the valve stem prevents the holes in the wheel cover from lining up with the lug nut holes on the rim. Instead, they line up with the mounting holes for the center cap. Perhaps you could put a bolt through those smaller mounting studs and attach fake or dummy lug nuts directly to the rims.

Of course, then there could also be a clearance issue with the wheel studs. If, installed on a car, they clear the wheel studs, then, I guess you could instead use the 67-68 style B & C body sport wheel cover. That one has a larger diecast center and no holes for the lug nuts. Otherwise they look the same.

The 64-66 sport wheel covers are not the same as the 67-68 version, but I would expect them to be aligned the same for bolt holes.

These are the similar 67-68 B & C body 14" wheel covers.

Thank you for your awesome feedback! I went ahead and ordered the Wheel Vintiques 61 series, 14"x7 BS 4.25. It was worth the LOOONG wait, because I think these will fit perfectly with my 235/60-14s in the rear. And I CAN CONFIRM, the 1964-66 sport wheel covers fit snug and perfectly on the Wheel Vintiques!

Now off to get the rims painted black, before mounting the wheels!
