Hard to imagine, but they fly to Mexico to “over winter” for about 4 months. They have a large sanctuary for them there. There is a pine tree under the Monarchs in the photo. View attachment 1716119149

I gave that truck to my boy when he turned 16 , 4-5 yrs later , there were still monarchs in places in that truck ...
