I had a 76 Cutlass Supreme, born with a 260 2bbl, it got swapped out quickly for a 350 Rocket 4 bbl, that was one of my favorite cars from the late 80s/early 90s. Real fun car to drive, handled ok for it's size, and very comfortable too. I think I paid around $200.00 for it. Silver with a red cloth bucket seat interior, super stock wheels and red landau top.
I never knew why the Chevy 350 was such the "go to" motor of that time, when both the Oldsmobile and Buick 350s were WAY better and WAY more torquey. I guess it was the cost thing.
