727 Torque Converter and Deep Sump Cast Aluminum Pan

Torque converter is a Boss Hog 54093. These are sold by Summit as budget friendly converters. Please look up specs there. No issues with it. Stalled right at 2800 RPM behind a 440 +.030, Edelbrock RPM heads, Edelbrock RPM manifold, Comp Cams 21-225-4, 10.2:1 CR, 1970 Dodge Dart. It's built loose and is spongy to get rolling. Changing to a tighter smaller 3600 stall converter with 7/16 bolts( Boss Hog has 5/16). Otherwise I had no reason to change it.

Included is a Summit deep pan and spacer. No issues here really, no leaks. I just don't like this pan. It has odd 12pt bolts requiring a 12pt socket and small counterbores for the bolt heads. Looks to be counterbored for socket head cap screws and will not accept standard hex head bolts. It requires spacers to work with a B&M mega shifter shifter bracket unless you grind the bracket or casting fillet to fit the bracket on level. I used Hurst before and didn't have any issues with fitment. I'm not sure what the difference is between the two, but the B&M bracket has to be spaced down about 1/4" and the cable has to be located upward at the maximum of the travel provided in the slot. The cable is not perfectly horizontal on the shift arm off the valve body. It worked for two years and didn't fail, but I don't like it. I also wanted a trans temp sensor port. I am happy with the B&M pan I bought to replace this one.

$200 for all plus shipping from 61858(east central Illinois). Shipping will be costly for the TC. Pick up is welcome.
