I think what happens is you join the club become a treasurer or some other officer and you get stuck there 10 or more years, no one steps up and says "Ill do it next year" its like volunteering they get your name and call you "are you coming out again this year..?" its like "aren't you supposed to put out feelers for new volunteers every so often...?"
