Lost all oil and oil pressure while driving (Need help diagnosing)
You can get seepage from the sender but it looks mostly dry.
What is this on the transmission tube?
Is the filter touching the torsion bar
With only the info at hand
I would suspect the old filter gasket got left behind when a new filter got installed.
Over a little time the filter loosened and started leaking.
Oil will be sprayed all over the place.
My daughter has a Taurus. Jiffy lube installed a filter and put a kink in it (like they used a strap wrench to tighten it and creased the side of the can.) 3 months later oil started spraying out of the filter, from the expansion and contraction due to oil pressure changes metal fatigued the can and created a leak.
What a mess.
